Composition

Benefits to Consumer

  • Bamini gives +90% aluminium yield due to higher density (as compared to 60% yield from normal aluminium ingots). So it replaces aluminium 1:1.
  • Manganese is an alloy required in steel making.
  • Iron increases the steel yield.
Consumer gets an additional 17% Manganese and 7% Iron, which would otherwise cost them approximately USD 250, which comes free with our product for the customer’s advantage.

Enabling Greener Steelmaking​

Bamini also supports the transition to greener steelmaking as our process uses aluminium scrap & Ferro-Manganese fines (byproduct).

Bamini promotes greener steelmaking in the following ways –

  • Our process requires no Aluminium melting, reducing the energy consumption.
  • Our manufacturing process generates no dross, reducing hazardous waste.
  • We use fines instead of lumps, ensuring better dispersion or recovery, which means lesser resources are used.
  • Our product reduces the Mn addition for steelmaking as our alloy already contains manganese.
