Enabling Greener Steelmaking​

BASS also supports the transition to greener steelmaking as our process uses aluminium scrap to manufacture the agglomerate.
Bass promotes greener steelmaking in the following ways –

  • Our process requires no Aluminium melting, reducing the energy consumption.
  • Our manufacturing process generates no dross, reducing hazardous waste.
  • We use fines instead of lumps, ensuring better dispersion or recovery, which means lesser resources are used.
